Description from the seller
It is a set of Venetian champagne flutes, hand-blown in the second half of the 20th century, where the hand-worked glass preserves that warm, organic pulse that distinguishes true craftsmanship. Each glass shows a body slightly tinted in a soft pink hue, a color that seems to emerge from the glass itself and that lends a sense of contemporary delicacy.
The gold decoration, precisely applied, surrounds the upper part of the goblet with motifs that recall the modernist language: flowing lines, stylized leaves, small ornamental gestures that do not seek to saturate, but to accentuate the elegance of the whole. That gold, luminous yet restrained, creates a perfect dialogue with the transparency of the blown glass.
The twisted stems, worked by hand, are perhaps the most Venetian detail: that delicate, almost sculptural twist that makes each glass a unique piece. No two are identical, because blown glass always leaves its mark, its slight variation, its artisanal signature.
Overall, it is a set of glasses that blends Venetian tradition, gold decoration, and modernist sensibility, creating pieces that not only serve for toasting but to be contemplated as objects of design and craftsmanship.
Tracked shipping and careful packaging.
