Beautiful vintage bamboo plant stand/pedestal in boho-chic or tiki-bar style.
A quirky piece of furniture with a round top, standing on 3 elegant bamboo legs. The top surface is made of ceramic with a “Delfts blue-like” pattern and has a diameter of 27 cm. The total height is about 80 cm. The height of the top surface is 75 cm. The side of the triangle at the bottom (on the floor) measures about 44 cm. The weight is about 1.2 kg.
The whole consists of 3 slanted bamboo rods, reinforced by 3 diagonal braces, between which the top surface is clamped. It was made, presumably in the Netherlands, in the 1950s-1960s, and is in nice used condition. All original bolt-caps screws are still in place. The caps on top of the bamboo rods, protruding above the table surface, appear to be from shell casings. The table shows only very minor signs of use. The top surface has been repaired once in the past, but it’s not very noticeable. The little table is neat, clean, and ready to use.
