Description from the seller
The presented camera is an excellent, compact analog model Olympus Superzoom 70G, released on the market in the early 2000s. The device represents a valued line of “point and shoot” cameras, combining simplicity of use with the advanced optical technology of the Japanese manufacturer. The heart of the camera is a precise, variable focal length Olympus Zoom lens with a versatile 38–70 mm range, in which two aspherical elements were used to minimize image distortions. The camera is equipped with a multi-step autofocus system, a built-in flash with red-eye reduction, and intelligent scene lighting modes. The sliding clamshell construction protects the optics during transport and serves as a quick on/off switch for the device. The exemplar has remained in very good visual and technical condition. The offered piece has the original Olympus Tokyo Japan nameplate with a clearly readable serial number: 4284756. The top control panel is clean, the mode selection buttons and the shutter release respond correctly, and the built-in LCD screen displays information without any defects or omissions (the frame counter is visible). The lens-extending mechanism operates smoothly and quietly, and the lens barrel itself shows no play. The rear cover carries only minimal, natural signs of use in the form of small surface smudges, with no deep scratches or cracks. The film chamber is clean, the viewfinder is clear, and the battery contact condition is excellent. Note: the sale does not include a battery (the camera requires one readily available CR123 lithium battery). Included with the camera is a preserved, excellent-condition original multilingual user manual (with clear diagrams and descriptions of the individual functions). A special element of the set is the dedicated soft pouch with a neck/shoulder cord. The case features a unique, original period design — made from a combination of black leather and dark suede, decorated with distinctive multicolored stitching (rainbow thread) and an additional front pocket for spare film. The set is an ideal proposition for both collectors of classic photographic equipment and enthusiasts of traditional photography seeking a reliable and stylish 35 mm film camera for daily use.
Buyer information: I do not ship to the USA or to countries affected by armed conflicts in the Middle East.
