This Sherwood is largely built from original Sony components.

Both the CD mechanism and also the laser and DACs are original Sony components. These, therefore, stand as a guarantee of the quality you can expect from Sony.
In the golden years of the 90s it was normal for Sherwood to have found their parts with the already giant Sony at the time.
Sony was already a reference in the CD player field.
