Description from the seller

The Bambara (or Bamana) N'tomo masks are ritual objects from Mali worn by uncircumcised young boys during initiation ceremonies. They are characterized by an idealized face surmounted by several horns and a minuscule mouth, symbolizing self-control and silence.
