Description from the seller
A beautiful and increasingly hard to find Marantz ST-17 Reference Series high-end stereo tuner, finished in black including RC cable.
The ST-17 belongs to the prestigious Marantz Reference Series and hails from a period when Marantz built its better audio components with exceptionally solid construction and great attention to signal purity.
This is by no means an ordinary radio/tuner. With a weight of no less than 6.8 kg, the ST-17 immediately feels like a serious high-end audio component.
Marantz equipped the ST-17 with, among other things, the well-known HDAM output stage, Dual Gate MOSFET technology, a carefully built power supply, short signal paths and a sturdy chassis that helps reduce unwanted vibrations and electromagnetic influences.
Particularly beautiful is the Gyro-Touch tuning: with the large tuning wheel, stations can be selected very pleasantly and precisely. A nice combination of classic operation and digital precision.
