Limestone sculpture of the Virgin and Child seated on a throne, wearing a long pleated tunic and crown, in Romanesque style from the 18th/19th century, approx. 29.6 cm high and 17.4 cm wide, in good condition with no restoration.

Calcareous limestone sculpture featuring the Virgin and Child,
She sits on a throne, wearing a long pleated tunic.
She wears a crown and her hair, covered by a veil, falls over her shoulders.
The head and hands are slightly oversized in comparison to the body. She holds her child in her arms,
The maternal figure is presented in a pose of gentleness and protection, bearing the Child with a naturalness and grace that transcend the era.
Patinated calcareous stone, showing a few signs of wear. The sculpture is in excellent condition and has undergone no restoration.
Romanesque style, 18th / 19th Century
Height 29.6 cm - Width 17.4 cm - Very good condition - no restoration
