Large, hand-knotted Oriental rug from India in the classic Tabriz-Herati design. The light central field is completely filled with a regularly repeating Herati pattern of stylized flowers, tendrils and geometric elements.

Several finely patterned borders in dark blue, rust-red, beige, brown and muted green frame the detailed central field. The balanced color scheme and the medallion-free design create a calm and elegant overall impression.
