A massive cube of clear acrylic with a perfect sphere at its heart, in an abstract geometric style in the spirit of Alessandro Albrizzi.
This must be one of the most beautiful piggy banks ever made. A beautiful little work of art custom-made and issued by a Dutch, probably financial, institution in the 1970s as a welcome gift for new savers or to promote saving in general.
The institution's logo has disappeared over the years and there are some signs of wear (scratches) on the top and bottom, but overall the object is in a fine, nearly scratch-free condition.
The ultimate goal is, of course, a richly filled pot. But it is so beautifully empty that you almost forget to put something in it. Leaving it empty becomes a really serious option.
