This hand-knotted Sarough-Mir rug captivates with its rare round shape and the classic, densely arranged Mir-i-Boteh pattern. The bright red inner field is completely covered with small stylized Boteh motifs, giving it a particularly uniform and elegant effect.

Several finely patterned borders in cream, dark blue, brown and red frame the inner field harmoniously. The surrounding light fringes emphasize the exceptional round shape.
