Other Americas is S. Salgado's first book, published in 1986, which presents his travels across the continent between 1977 and 1984.
This book is arguably the most beautiful he has produced. In addition to the power of the images laid out in double-page spreads, the original edition benefits from a high-contrast black-and-white print that is not matched in the reissues.
