Large Jugendstil - Candleholder - Wilkens 1900

Exceptional large-scale German silver candlestick from the Art Nouveau / Jugendstil period, manufactured by the renowned Wilkens workshop and bearing the retailer’s mark of Herm. Jürgens.

The piece is crafted from solid 800 silver and features elegant flowing organic forms characteristic of early 20th-century German Jugendstil silver design. The sculptural swirling base and harmoniously shaped upper section give the object a highly decorative and imposing appearance.
Particularly noteworthy is its unusually large size, rarely encountered in single candlesticks of this type.

800 fineness mark, crescent moon, crown, maker’s mark and Herm. Jürgens retailer’s stamp.
