Iron-Age Bronze Arm Ring – unadorned arm ring with a D-shaped cross-section

Description
Beautiful and impressive Iron Age arm ring made of bronze with a simple, undecorated appearance. The arm ring has an approximately circular to slightly oval course and a robust, rounded to D-shaped cross-section.
The ends are open and cut straight. The surface shows a pronounced green to turquoise patina, areas with darker and earthy deposits. The patina and signs of wear give the piece an authentic archaeological character.
The present arm ring corresponds typologically to the “unadorned arm ring with D-shaped cross-section” described in the illustrated literature. Comparable shapes are classified in the Iron Age in the literature and occur especially in the Central European area.
An interesting object for a collection of Celtic or Iron Age bronzes and ancient jewelry.
