Description from the seller
A green jade bead cabochon from the ancient Burmese culture, second millennium AD.
In good condition. It has been cleaned in a tumbler and repolished, so its surface is shiny and smooth , but the nice antique patina is preserved. Original, ancient, hand cutting, carving and grinding. Traces of use and age on its surface.
Purchased in 1995 Mandalay by Dr. Zelnik on the local art market.
