Description from the seller

Vintage Italian Floral Tole Chandelier, circa 1950s–1960s

An elegant vintage Italian three-light chandelier, attributed to Giovanni Banci, Florence, dating from the mid-20th century. The piece features a wrought iron frame richly decorated with hand-painted tole metal flowers, leaves and scrolling vine motifs. The floral decoration is finished in soft polychrome tones with gilt accents, giving the chandelier a refined Florentine decorative character.

The chandelier has three candle-style light fittings with flame-shaped bulbs and a suspension chain. The electrical system is reported to be working, though, as with all vintage lighting, professional inspection before installation is recommended.

The piece shows age-related wear, including minor paint losses, patina, light oxidation and rubbing to the gilt finish, consistent with age and use. Highly decorative and suitable for classical, eclectic, country house, Hollywood Regency or Rococo Revival interiors.
