In June 1979, an exhibition was inaugurated at the Palais des Beaux-Arts in Brussels, which would later travel to other cities and countries, called Le musée imaginaire de Tintin. The content of that exhibition sought to confront the mythical objects from The Adventures of Tintin with the real objects that inspired Hergé.

El contenido de dicha exposición buscaba confrontar los objetos míticos de Las aventuras de Tintín con los objetos reales en los que Hergé se había inspirado.
