Beautiful Fluorite from Balochistan with a slender, elongated, almost slab-like shape, on which numerous overlapping crystals develop in delicate tones of gray, brown, and faint warmer shades when viewed in transmitted light.

The crystallization is very dynamic.
One of the most interesting aspects of the specimen is best appreciated with backlighting.
The backlit photograph well highlights the Fluorite’s translucence, bringing out much lighter and brighter zones next to darker ones, along with some warm tones toward the bottom.

From a side view, the relatively thin thickness of the specimen and the way the crystals develop on the surface are well evident, giving depth and movement to the whole.
