A magnificent and working specimen of Marelli fan from the 1930s/40s, model i-25, where the i stands for tiltable while the 25 refers to the blade length.
AC operation with the 125 makes it usable, subject to a electrician’s opinion, with the electrical adapter (as we did to demonstrate its operation).
It has a side screw on the trunk that allows direction of the flow (high/low).
The concavity of the cage at the base is not a defect (experts know this) but it allows the fan to be tilted onto itself.
Three speeds, all functioning, as well as the on/off switch.
Gilded cage with an evident weld point (its visual impact can be reduced with a light brush of gold paint).
The wire connecting the head to the base is still the original fabric, with a small securing modification on our part at one point.
Overall, for its almost century of life it is found to have a lot of charm and character.
For industrial environments or commercial activities that want to give their premises a curiosity piece and industrial aesthetic.
For the more demanding collectors.
Wire changed over the years and presumably in the 1950s.
