Anatomical model - Rubber - unknown - SOMSO Male Torso

Vintage anatomical torso model from the renowned German brand SOMSO (since 1876), version “Männlicher Torso mit Kopf” (model series AS 21/AS 23). Life-size torso in SOMSO-Plast, with removable organs: half brains, eye with muscles and optic nerve, lungs (2 parts), heart (2 parts), liver, stomach, small and large intestine (3 parts), appendix, half kidney and half bladder. Placed on the original green SOMSO pedestal.

Condition: complete and undamaged — all parts present, no cracks, breaks or missing pieces. The painted details (blood vessels, muscle structures, organs) are clear and intact.

These models were used in medical education and are known for their precision and hand-painted finish. A beautiful item for collectors of scientific instruments or medical antiques, or as a decorative/educational piece.
