Beautiful antique cranberry/red ruby glass cylindrical vase with a detailed hand-painted enameled floral decoration.
This elegant vase is made from deep ruby/cranberry glass and has a subtly pleated/optical wall.
The front is richly decorated with refined hand-painted enameling depicting flowering branches and floral motifs.
The details of the petals and stamens are rendered with meticulous precision.
Halfway up the vase there is an elegant band of small enamel dots (pearl edge).
At the bottom is a hand-engraved number (30.), indicating an artisanal model or decoration numbering from the workshop.
Style/Origin: Bohemian / French Art Nouveau period (style of, for example, Legras / Montjoye / Moser)
Period: Ca. 1890 – 1920
Material: Hand-blown cranberry/ruby red glass, enamel
Features: Optically blown glass, hand-etched/engraved number on the bottom ("30.")
Condition: In very good antique condition. No chips or cracks. The enamel decor is still beautifully intact with light, normal signs of aging/use that suit the age.
A beautiful collectible for lovers of antique glass, Art Nouveau, and Bohemian/French glass.
