Oak armchair, Haagsche School, Netherlands

Condition: In good condition, few signs of use, age-related. (see photos)

Reupholstered and the chair is sturdy and completely ready for use.

Dimensions: height 83 cm x width 58 cm x depth 49 cm.
Seat height: 47 cm

Style: Haagsche School (Art Deco)

Provenance: Netherlands (Ruurlo) see hallmark.

Age: 1920-1930

Material: Oak and fabric upholstery (green)

The chair was made in the Netherlands (Achterhoek) in the period 1920-1940.
This was the period when the Haagsche School made its entry.
The clean geometric lines, the sleekness and the better wood quality are characteristic of this.
Furniture was often made for the “well-to-do” citizens.
This beautiful piece is carefully packed and shipped with tracking.
