Meissen – Onion Pattern partial set with teapot, plates, and serving platter
For sale is an exquisite and timeless dinner service for 6 from the world-famous Meissen porcelain manufactory in the classic “Onion Pattern” decoration. All pieces are hand-painted (under-glaze blue) and bear the iconic Meissen swords mark on the underside.
The set includes a total of 14 pieces:
- 6x flat dinner plates Ø 26 cm — 3rd quality, modern era, circa 1950s to 1960s
- 6x deep soup bowls Ø 24 cm — 3rd quality, modern era (1934–1944) and modern era from 1972
- 1x large oval serving platter — 2nd quality, Pfeiffer period (1924–1934), 29 cm x 20.5 cm
- 1x elegant teapot with lid — 2nd quality, Knauf period (1850–1924), 20 cm x 15 cm
There are two chips on the inside of the lid (at the corners of the lid fit to the teapot)
