Description:
Beautiful and decorative 9-piece tile tableau from Koninklijke Tichelaar of Makkum, executed in polychrome painting.
The tableau consists of nine hand-painted tiles with various Dutch and historical scenes. Depicted are, among others, figures in traditional clothing, a windmill and sailing ships. The tiles feature the characteristic blue corner ornaments.
The whole is mounted in a handsome dark brown wooden frame, so the tableau can be hung on the wall as-is.
