Elegant Baccarat crystal carafe. This model, named Colbert, is shown in the brand’s household arts catalogs in 1906 and 1907. There is no signature. Before 1936, prestigious crystal manufacturers applied simple paper labels that disappeared during washing. The pieces were not acid-etched with a circular stamp as they are today.

The pattern combines a geometrically complex cut in a “diamond” or “lozenge” on the lower part, typical of catalogs from the second half of the 19th century, and a wheel-engraved vegetal frieze on the shoulder.
