This impressive antique coffee grinder features a large copper grinding chamber with a long curved crank, also in copper, with wooden or turned handles. The grinder is mounted on a wooden chest-shaped housing with turned corner posts, which at the bottom contains a drawer for catching the ground coffee, equipped with a small metal pull knob. The chest rests on four round legs. This is a large model, with a height of 31 cm and a wooden housing of about 17.5 x 18 cm.

The condition is generally good, appropriate for the age of this piece. The copper grinding chamber shows a nice sheen with occasional spots and oxidation, characteristic for copper of this age. The wood of the chest shows a warm, used patina with light signs of use. The drawer functions well.
