AI-assisted summary

Description from the seller

A very beautiful and important Art Deco pâte de verre and wrought-iron bowl from the Verreries d'Art Lorraine, a glassworks linked to the Daum house and led by Paul Daum around 1925-1930.

It features a wide bowl in pink and violet marmoreal glass, animated by superb cloudy nuances that give great depth to the material.

The bowl is set in an elegant wrought-iron mounting richly worked with stylized leaves, typical of Art Deco.

The bowl bears the Lorrain signature. It is the glassware of the Belle Étoile in Croismare.

In good condition, just a few signs of wear.
