Offered is a large vintage Dutch GERO 90 silver-plated cutlery collection of 35 pieces, featuring an exceptionally decorative floral, foliage and bird motif.

The pieces have beautifully detailed openwork handles, making this a particularly attractive set for collectors of vintage Dutch silver-plated tableware.

All pieces are marked with the GERO maker’s mark. The pieces are silver-plated rather than solid silver; the “90” designation refers to the GERO silver-plating standard and should not be interpreted as 90% silver content.

Condition

Overall good vintage condition, with normal signs of age and use. There are some scratches, small marks, tarnishing/patina and areas of wear to the silver plating. Given the age and previous use, the pieces are not in new condition.

The intricate handles and decorative details remain particularly attractive.
