French mantle clock from the late 19th century signed Ehrenbach à Provins, in alabaster and gilded régule, with a mechanical movement and a power reserve of several days, striking on the half hours with one gong, 44 × 35 × 12 cm, weighing 4.3 kg, with winding key and pendulum, in good used condition.

French 19th-century mantel clock signed Ehrenbach in Provins.
Beautiful mantel clock dating from the second half of the 19th century, resting on a wooden plinth and adorned with an imposing gilded régule sculpture representing a young musician playing the mandolin.
The enamelled dial with Roman numerals is signed "Ehrenbach à Provins".
The original mechanical movement runs and striking the hours as well as the half-hours.
The clock is sold with its key and its pendulum.
The whole presents a refined decor typical of the Napoléon III style, with beautiful alabaster elements combined with gilded régule, the composition is elegant and of large dimensions, making it a striking decorative piece.
A fine antique clock combining decorative quality and horological interest, ideal for a collection or a classic-styled interior.
Good overall condition for its age, with slight wear and normal aging patina.
