Vintage Sewing Machine Auction

Small antique sewing machine from the second half of the nineteenth century. It shows signs of use, but appears largely complete, so, provided a suitable needle is fitted, it can in principle be used for sewing. It uses a so-called chain stitch. As mentioned there are signs of use, but the decoration is still visible in many places, and will look even better with proper cleaning. The machine moves smoothly when operated. 

As the machine does not work in its current condition, it is being sold explicitly as defective. It is an interesting collectible, or, due to the exposed mechanism, a striking focal piece in a mancave or sewing room.

The sewing machine will be packed very carefully for shipping and sent with tracking.

Kleine antieke naaimachine uit de tweede helft van de negentiende eeuw. Ze vertoont gebruikssporen, maar lijkt grotendeels compleet, zodat, mits een passende naald wordt aangebracht, er in principe mee genaaid kan worden.
Er wordt gebruik gemaakt van een zogenaamde kettingsteek. Zoals gezegd zijn er gebruikssporen, maar de decoratie is op veel plaatsen nog zichtbaar, en zal met behulp van een passende reiniging nog beter tot zijn recht komen. 
De machine laat zich soepel in beweging brengen.

Aangezien de machine in zijn huidige toestand niet werkt wordt hij nadrukkelijk als defect verkocht. Het is een interessant verzamelstuk, of, vanwege de openliggende techniek, een mooie blikvanger in een mancave of naaikamer.

De naaimachine zal zeer zorgvuldig worden verpakt voor verzending en met track & trace worden verzonden.
