This is a hand-knotted Oriental rug, made of durable natural materials. The method of knotting and the diversity in patterns make this rug a one-of-a-kind and emphasize the authentic and artisanal character.
This beautiful Tibet is hand-knotted with the finest, unbleached wool from sheep in the high Tibet region. This wool is naturally extra fatty due to the cold temperatures (acts as insulation for the sheep). When this wool is used in carpets it not only provides a beautiful extra shine but also serves as a natural protective layer. Wool of higher quality is (almost) not to be found.
