Refined marquetry bar cart with floral bouquet inlays, a superb example of Italian artisanal cabinetmaking from the mid-20th century. Sophisticated, beautiful in appearance and form, it features a movable, sinuous two-level architecture with perimeter profiles that are polygon-lobed, finished with a stunning black-ebonized border that creates a sophisticated chromatic contrast with the warm wood tones.

The two shelves, joined by four slender solid-wood baluster columns finely turned on a rosette, host at the center two splendid polychrome floral bouquets framed by geometric reserves with vegetal scrolls and inlaid leaves. The upper tray is equipped with a significant ergonomic wooden handle turned on a torchon, supported by arms in heavy gilded brass, finely chased with geometric motifs and relief beadwork. A graceful perimetral railing in polished brass runs along the perimeter to ensure the stability of objects during service.
The lower level is enriched by a practical three-compartment bottle holder in pierced brass, firmly anchored to the structure. The base rests on four large pivoting wheels original from the period in golden metal, finished with a perimeter rubber floor-protector ring.

The original protective lacquer is splendidly preserved and retains a mirror-like brightness free of clouding, enhancing the sharpness of the inlays. The structural joints of the columns and the ebonized profiles show no cracks. The brass components retain their original gilding with a light and fascinating patina of time. The four pivoting wheels are intact and fully functional.
