Table lamp (2) - Ring - Steel - Set

Decorative and very atmospheric set of two matching table lamps, featuring striking sculptural metal bases and warm red/brown-rusty lamp shades.

The lamps have a distinctive open ring or teardrop shape in the central part of the base. This organic design gives the pair an elegant and almost sculptural appearance. Thanks to their symmetrical design, the lamps look particularly beautiful as a set, for example on either side of a sideboard, console, bed, or sofa.

Sculptural design

The base of each lamp is built from several decorative elements.

At the bottom lies a sturdy square, stepped base, from which a slightly flaring metal base rises. Above that is the most characteristic part of the design: a large open ring in a stylized teardrop/diamond shape.

The rounded contours of this open form nicely contrast with the sharp square base. Above the ring the base continues through several spherical and conical decorative elements into a cylindrical neck on which the socket and lampshade are mounted.

The whole thing thus has a pleasing vertical structure and a pronounced decorative character.

Metal with attractive patina

The bases are finished in a dark metal-like coating with an aged silver/tin/gunmetal appearance. The surface is not glossy but has a subtle patina and various nuances that further emphasize the shape of the lamps.

In the light, beautiful warm and cooler reflections are visible. Especially around the open ring, the rounded profiles, and the flaring base, this creates a lot of depth.

The existing signs of use and aging fit well with the character of the lamps and give the metal surfaces an authentic vintage look.

Red-brown shades

Both lamps are equipped with matching trapezoidal fabric shades in a warm red-brown / rust color.

The fabric has a subtle visible texture. When the lamps are lit, the material takes on a warm glow and there is a beautiful golden/amber light reflection on the inside of the shades.

The combination of the dark metal bases with the warm shades gives the set a particularly atmospheric appearance.

Because of the rectangular shape of the shades, they also nicely align with the square, stepped bases.

Atmospheric lighting

These lamps are not only functional light sources but above all decorative interior pieces.

When placed together, they create a strong symmetrical effect. They are especially suitable as a pair on a sideboard, console table or sidetable, but also as two matching bedside lamps on either side of a bed.

The warm red-brown shades provide pleasant and atmospheric light when in use.
