Splendid pair of tripod copper cauldrons with rich decoration on the feet reproducing the faces of griffins. With original wrought iron handle.
Product of foundry work, an example of Italian artisanal craft from the 19th and 20th centuries.
Probably previously used for cooking by the hearth (N.B. their suitability for cooking is not guaranteed, they are sold as decorative items); today they are stunning furnishing objects, in good aesthetic condition.
They stand about 25.5 cm high including the feet and excluding the handle, with an opening (mouth) of about 17.5 cm.
N.B. given their age, they are in good preservation condition;
N.B. some scratches and small signs of oxidation (as shown in the photos);
N.B. please refer to the photos for the actual condition of the item.
