Description from the seller

Laguiole pocket knife or folding knife in a beautiful box with a whetstone, belt sheath and oil to care for the knife properly.

This pocket knife becomes a daily must-have, whether in the kitchen or during your outdoor excursions.

Spring with milled decorations on the back of the handle together with the well-known Laguiole bee. Also the shepherd's cross is on the handle. This symbol, carried by shepherds during their long treks across the land, reminded them to pray for the meal, with the knife stuck in the bread.

Equipped with an olive wood handle with stainless steel bolsters. This knife has an elegant, robust and original design. The sharp, finely etched stainless steel blade is very resistant to corrosion.

What is special about olive wood is that the tree may only be used when it no longer bears olives. This is usually after 100 years. This means that this beautiful knife is made from wood that is more than 100 years old. The pocket knife features a stylish and sleek design. Thanks to its slim profile, the knife sits well in the hand.

Ideal if you want to personalise your purchase, because it is already packaged in a beautiful box with belt sheath, a small whetstone and oil to maintain the knife.

Please note that there are no papers or a certificate included with this knife. The set is nevertheless new.

Laguiole

The famous knife from France is originally a beautiful functional pocket knife. Laguiole is not a brand name, but a reference to a French village. It was designed with as a starting point a Spanish pocket knife called navaja and a local French dagger called capuchadou.
