Beautiful Pair of Murano Glass Birds – Gino Cenedese – 29 cm & 25.5 cm – Mint Condition!
An exquisite, original set of two mid-century Murano art glass birds from the 1960s, attributed to master glass artist Gino Cenedese.
The birds were crafted with the renowned Fenicio technique, whereby a wavy, feathered pattern of amber, warm brown, and white glass threads is beautifully captured in a heavy, clear glass outer layer (sommerso). The pair forms a unique duo: one bird has its head elegantly tilted back, while the other gazes forward in a graceful pose.
Both objects are in absolute new condition; no chips, flea bites, or damage to the delicate beaks and sharp tail tips.
