Simon Gavina - Kazuide Takahama - Table - Wood, Lacquer - Ming Table by Tazuhide T

Ming Table by Kazuhide Takahama (1930-2010) purchased in the early 1980s in Venice.
It is a piece that blends traditional Japanese style with Italian modernism of the designers who worked in Milan during the 1970s and 1980s.
Produced by Simon Gavina, it's made of black lacquered wood, with rounded corners and four legs with a triangular cross-section.
Well maintained, because it has been used very little.
It measures 164 x 84 x 35 cm (the table size is "large", and fairly rare in its production) and weighs about 50 kg.
