The design is inspired by the famous historic models "Transilvania" from the Anatolian area, characterized by an exceptional geometric-floral harmony. The central field, on a bright ivory/cream background, is decorated with a dense all-over motif of stylized floral elements, arabesques, and palmettes finely detailed. The rich main border with a burgundy and burnt-umber background elegantly frames the rug with classical cartouches and alternating geometric decorations. Made with high-quality pure wool pile on a solid cotton warp and weft, the rug presents itself as compact, heavy, and very stable on the floor. Dimensions: 400 x 300 cm (approx).
