Volker Christian Reinhardt - Candleholder (2) - Bronze

Two pieces of sculptural bronze objects (bowls / candle holders) from the Brutalism era (c. 1960s/1970s). The objects come from the well-known sculptor Volker Christian Reinhardt. Both pieces are stamped inside with the typical monogram diamond “VCR” and are hand-signed on the underside or rim in the casting with “V REINHARDT” (see photos). Style: Brutalism / Mid-Century Modern. Characteristic, archaic structure with delicate metal thorns. Material: solid bronze casting, no broken rods or defects. Sale preferably as a pair.
