A Schuco Fernlenk-Auto 3000 tin-and-wood remote-controlled car from West Germany in the 1950s, with original box and manual, tested and working, in very good condition.
Description from the seller
An iconic and exceptionally complete Schuco Fernlenk-Auto 3000 tinplate wind-up car from the 1950s. This specimen was produced in West Germany and is in an unusually complete condition that is rarely seen on the market in this form.
What is special about this lot is the original cardboard box with the rare Dutch inscription "bestuurbare auto".
100% complete equipment:
- the red tinplate streamlined car (10.5 cm) with glossy paint.
- The authentic driver's cockpit with built-in gear lever and metal steering wheel.
- the original flexible metal steering wire to mechanically connect the cockpit to the roof of the car.
- the two original colored discs/flags (yellow and red with Schuco logo)
- the original paper manual/instruction booklet.
The car is in a beautiful aesthetic condition with minimal signs of aging. The box is structurally complete but shows vintage patina and wear consistent with its age.
