Art Nouveau silver chatelaine hand mirror pendant by David‑Andersen, made in Austria, in 925 silver with plique‑à‑jour enamel, dating ca. 1925–1940, measuring about 12.5 cm by 7.5 cm and weighing around 32 g.

Description:
Rare Norwegian chatelaine hand mirror pendant by David-Andersen, Oslo.
Sterling silver 925.S with true plique-à-jour enamel in Art Nouveau / Jugendstil style. Polychrome decoration of green leaves shaded yellow and blue forget-me-not flowers on a deep ruby-red translucent ground. Fine twisted wire filigree outlining each enamel cell.
Front: decorative plique-à-jour panel, translucent when held to light (see backlit photos).
Reverse: original bevelled mirror glass, intact with light age wear.
Measurements: approx. 12,5 cm x 7 cm incl. bale]
Weight: approx. [FILL IN: e.g. 32 gram
Hallmarks: clearly stamped with scales (David-Andersen master mark) + 925.S. See macro photo. According to Wilson55, the D-A scales + 925-S marks were used from 1925 onwards.
Condition: Enamel without major chips or restoration, with normal hairlines / crazing consistent with age. Silver with natural patina, unpolished. Mirror intact. Very good vintage condition for this fragile technique.
A desirable piece for the Art Nouveau and Norwegian silver collector.
