Sony - METAL-XR Blank audio cassette - Multiple models

A substantial collector’s lot of 14 sealed Sony METAL-XR Type IV Metal Position blank cassette tapes from Japan.

This lot includes:
- 9 x METAL-XR 46-minute tapes
- 3 x METAL-XR 50-minute tapes
- 1 x METAL-XR 60-minute tape
- 1 x METAL-XR 100-minute tape

Sony METAL-XR is a desirable Japanese metal cassette series from the golden age of high-fidelity cassette recording. Designed for serious recording use, these Type IV metal tapes were made for high output, low noise and a clear, dynamic sound, especially with digital sources and quality cassette decks.

The black and gold METAL-XR design gives this lot a strong collector presence, and the inclusion of several recording lengths, including 60-minute and 100-minute versions, makes it a particularly appealing set for collectors of premium Japanese blank media.

All tapes are unused and remain sealed.

Please note the following condition points:
- Two of the 46-minute tapes have clear tape applied to the outer shrink wrap.
- One additional 46-minute tape has lifting / separation to the shrink wrap on the back side.
- One of the 50-minute tapes has a tear in the shrink wrap at one corner.

These issues affect the outer shrink wrap only. As vintage sealed items, the packaging may also show minor shelf wear, small scratches, scuffs or age-related marks.

Please check all photos carefully for the exact condition of each tape.

The tapes have not been test-recorded or played, as they remain sealed.

The lot will be carefully packed and shipped with tracking and insurance.
