It is a sought-after guilloché frame made in Flemish style in the first half of the 19th century (the 1800s). The structure features the typical eb​onized "wave" finish, enriched with contrasting burl wood geometric inlays that imitate the Baroque patterns of the Seicento, but executed with the technical precision and eclecticism typical of the Victorian era

Si tratta di una ricercata cornice (guilloché) realizzata in stile fiammingo nella prima metà dell'Ottocento (XIX secolo). La struttura presenta la tipica lavorazione "a onde" ebanizzata, arricchita da inserti geometrici in radica a contrasto che imitano i modelli barocchi del Seicento, ma eseguiti con la precisione tecnica ed eclettica tipica dell'epoca vittoriana
