Bird Bead Talisman in green jasper from Silk Road Central Asia, dating to the first millennium AD, in good condition with ancient hand-cut holes and preserved patina, measuring 66 mm in height, 20 mm in width and 10 mm in depth, acquired in 1995 in the United Kingdom from a gallery/antique dealer and originating from the collection of Dr. István Zelnik, authenticated as Original/official.

A green jasper bird bead talisman from the ancient Central Asian culture.
1st millennium AD.
In good condition. It has been cleaned , but the nice antique patina is preserved. Original, ancient, hand cutting, carving, grinding and boring. The holes are ancient, hand-made, irregular. Traces of use and age on its surface.
Purchased mid 90's in London by Dr. Zelnik on the local art market.
