Here is a rare and iconically designed collectible jewel: the View-Master Personal Stereo Camera stereoscopic camera, produced in the USA by Sawyer's Inc. between 1952 and 1955. This brilliant 35mm film device allowed enthusiasts to independently take their own three-dimensional photographs to be punched out and inserted into the famous View-Master disks. Characterized by a magnificent retro aesthetic and a paired lens configuration, it represents a piece of stereoscopic photography history of utmost collecting interest.

The lot is offered in good overall condition, with normal signs of use consistent with age, and is functional, complete with its original brown leather protective case with shoulder strap.

Optics: The camera mounts a pair of fixed View-Master Anastigmat 25mm f/3.5 Coated lenses. The lenses are in good condition. No surface scratches, mold, or hazing are present.

Mechanical and Electrical: Tested and working. The mechanical shutter operates regularly.

Aesthetics: Good overall condition, as clearly documented by the photographs. The heavy metal body with black finish and original markings is beautifully preserved, showing only light and normal signs of use and some small paint loss on the edges consistent with age.

The robust original brown leather protective case is solid, showing a nice vintage patina and normal signs of storage on the surface and on the strap.
