Hand-painted Chinese porcelain tea caddy with lid

The octagonal tea caddy is richly painted around with floral and wolf motifs. Executed in the characteristic Imari palette of cobalt blue, iron red and gold on a white background.

In used condition. Around the upper edge there are clear chips and signs of aging. Also at the area where the lid knob attaches there are damages. See photos for a good impression of the condition.

Handbeschilderde Chinese porseleinen theebus met deksel

De achthoekige theebus is rondom rijk beschilderd met bloem- en wolfmotieven. Uitgevoerd in het karakteristieke Imari-palet van kobaltblauw, ijzerrood en goud op een witte achtergrond.

In gebruikte staat. Rond de bovenzijde zijn duidelijke chips en ouderdomssporen zichtbaar. Ook bij de aansluiting van de dekselknop zijn beschadigingen aanwezig. Zie foto’s voor een goede indruk van de staat.
