Born in Cuba, he studied at the Matanzas Professional School of Art (2009–2013). Among his main references are Andy Warhol, Salvador Dalí, John Currin, Tom Wesselmann, Gustav Klimt, Moebius, Paul Gauguin, Tomás Sánchez, and Roberto Fabelo.

His practice combines hand-painted acrylic painting, spray painting, stencil, mixed media and resin, creating works of great chromatic intensity that explore Pop Art, surrealism, fashion, sensuality, philosophy and contemporary culture.
His visual language is characterized by layered compositions, vibrant colors and a combination of figurative images and imaginary worlds. Among his influences are Andy Warhol, Salvador Dalí, John Currin, Tom Wesselmann, Gustav Klimt and Moebius.
Frank Arias personally develops each work in his Barcelona studio, from the initial idea to the final details and finish.
