Six bottles (0.75 L each) of Jérôme Gradassi’s 2021 Châteauneuf-du-Pape red, with 80% Grenache and 20% Mourvèdre, a fully intact label and metal capsule, aged 18 months in used French oak, from 3 hectares of family vines.
Description from the seller
17/20 RVF 80% grenache 20% mourvèdre, aromas of dark red fruit, notes of forest floor, hint of leather. Full-bodied, with round tannins, refreshing acidity and a long finish. The grapes come from 80 year old vines. Aged for 18 months in used French oak barrels. Bottled at the domaine. Drinking well now and will cellar through 2030. Jérôme Gradassi is the smallest wine producer in Châteauneuf du Pape, with just 3 hectares of family vines which he took over in 2004. Prior to that, he was a Michelin-star chef with a restaurant in Avignon. His CDP red is highly regarded and his wines are very sought after by sommeliers. Shipped from France.
