Ancient Roman mosaic glass multi-eye bead.
A highly decorative ancient glass bead with a rounded rectangular form and multiple eye motifs distributed across its surface. The bead displays an attractive polychrome combination of yellow/orange, red, blue-green, green and darker tones, creating a particularly distinctive and visually appealing appearance.
The bead has a large central perforation for suspension. It has been carefully inspected and is fully intact, with no cracks, breaks or chips. Natural surface irregularities, deposits and signs of age are visible and are particularly emphasized in the highly magnified close-up photographs.
