Description from the seller
This device is a double-paddle iambic paddle from the prestigious Italian brand Begali, specifically the Sculpture model.
It is a high-precision instrument made of polished stainless steel, designed exclusively for manual Morse code transmission (CW) in amateur radio.
It features the following visible specifications:
Customization: It bears engraved the EA5AU insignia, which corresponds to the licensed amateur radio callsign in Spain (Valencian Community/Murcia region).
Mechanism: It uses a magnetic return system with neodymium magnets instead of traditional springs, giving it a very fast, crisp, and smooth response.
Connectivity: Includes a shielded cable with a 3.5 mm jack connector, ready to be connected to the transceiver or to a practice oscillator.
Electrical contacts: Made of solid gold (not plated) to ensure perfect conductivity, free of oxidation and with minimal electrical resistance.
Return mechanism: Incorporates high-power neodymium magnets, eliminating the need for metal springs prone to fatigue.
Paddles (the arms that are pressed) are made of carbon fiber, materials chosen for their lightness to reduce inertia when telegraphing at high speeds.
