Last issue of the 10 kopeks denomination of the Russian Empire before the collapse of the monarchy in 1917. This coin was minted in Petrograd (now Saint Petersburg) during the final months of Tsarism. The classic design shows the imperial coat of arms with the double-headed eagle and Saint George on horseback in the center, and on the reverse, the denomination surrounded by a laurel and oak crown. Silver coin highly sought after in high grades of preservation like this specimen.
